Antikes Antiochia Association e.V.,whose purpose is the support of the ancient city of Antiochia were based in year 2004,today Antakya(Turkey).The association understands itself as intercultural organ,whose members engage themselves independently from its nationality and religion.A main goal is it in close co-operation with the culture Ministry of Turkey, with the university of Antakya and the German twin city Aalen to contribute to the maintenance of cultural resources in Antakya.The city of Antakya is to be made more popular in German speaking world by organized educational trips.Apart from the economic factor,which would mean the development of tourism could be continued to the multiculture of the city with people from different citizens and religions have been living in Antakya in peaceful coexistence since more than 2000 years.
